The Adam Science Foundation Leadership Programme (ASFLP) was set up in memory of Adam Science, a young lay leader for the Young Jewish Blind Society and the JIA (Joint Israel Appeal, predecessor of the UJIA), who died tragically in 1991.

The Adam Science Foundation Leadership Programme (ASFLP) is a unique leadership programme for young professionals to develop their vision for and understanding of the key issues facing the UK Jewish community and to support them in taking up leadership positions within existing communal organisations or setting up projects of their own. Each year, the ASFLP recruits up to 12 people from a diverse range of careers, religious affiliations and backgrounds, with the aim of helping them to acquire the skills and experience they need to become leaders in the Jewish community.
The programme helps to enable participants to shape their vision for the community and look at the key challenges facing it today.
