The Adam Science Foundation Leadership Programme (ASFLP) was set up in memory of Adam Science, a young lay leader for the Young Jewish Blind Society and the JIA (Joint Israel Appeal, predecessor of the UJIA), who died tragically in 1991.
Before he died, Adam had recognised the dearth of young leaders in the community and had already started discussions to establish a young leadership course. In 1992, a group of his closest friends and colleagues formed the Adam Science Foundation and established the ASFLP.
Their vision was to create the definitive young leadership programme in the UK to develop innovative and inspired young professional leaders across our community.
