PA to Fundraising Director (1 year maternity cover):

UJIA is looking for an experienced administrative professional to provide administrative support to the Fundraising Director whilst being responsible for organisational and lay leadership liaison and assisting with donor research.

UJIA JAMS Fieldworker (based in Manchester, maternity cover):

The UJIA JAMS Fieldworker will facilitate and deliver Jewish activities as part of the wider UJIA JAMS programme at a range of UJIA partner schools across Greater Manchester.

• Altrincham Grammar School (boys and girls)
• Bury Grammar School (boys and girls)
• Manchester Grammar School
• Manchester High School for Girls
• Cheadle Hulme
• Withington Girls School

Responsibilities include: co-ordinating sessions at schools, sourcing weekly speakers and producing and delivering quality, educational sessions.

Written monthly reports of speakers, topics, numbers attending and comments must be kept and given to UJIA Manchester UK Programmes Director & the UJIA Director of Informal Education.

UJS Israel Engagement Officer (based in London):

UJIA and UJS are seeking a driven, self motivated and inspiring leader with a passion for Israel to create and deliver an Israel Engagement strategy on campus that is relevant for all Jewish students. This role will form a major part of UJS's overall vision for the coming years and you will have the support and resources of both the UJS sabbatical team, the UJIA Informal Education Department and JAFl Shlichim. You will have funds which have been allocated to the delivery of the strategy.

If you have a good knowledge of Israel, are an educator with a previous track record of devising new initiatives and are passionate about student engagement this is an exciting, new role with much to offer.

UJIA Copywriter (based in London):

UJIA is looking for an experienced and versatile writer to produce well-written and accurate content for a variety of media and reports.

Main tasks will include: Media Relations and PR, Report Writing and Corporate and Speech Writing. You will be working across the organisations and in close contact with the Fundraising and Programme departments.

You must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills when interacting with stakeholders and press contacts.

UJIA Intern Opportunities

We are looking for an intern to work on the Israel 65 project; the grassroots project and the main event. This is a 3 month placement working with the Israel 65 team, to start as soon as possible.

Your main role will be to work on communicating the projects out to the community as well as dealing with the administration of both the project itself and the event. It is an opportunity to be involved in a major community project and a large scale event. You will gain experience in PR and events.
We are looking for a confident communicator. Knowledge of the Jewish community and Israel would be good but not essential.

We are looking for 2 interns to work within our Fundraising team and our Communications team:

- Fundraising Intern - 3 month placement within the UJIA's busy fundraising department. Your main role will be to work on a fundraising research project.
- Communications Intern - 3 month placement within the Communications department. You will gain experience in PR and marketing. If you are a creative thinker and a good copywriter then this could be a great opportunity for you.
Knowledge of the Jewish community and Israel would be good but not essential.
