About UJIA Israel Experience

UJIA Israel Experience is a partnership of UJIA and JAFI (Jewish Agency for Israel) and is one of the leading Jewish communal programmes in the world. Based in offices in London and Jerusalem, UJIA Israel Experience works with Youth Movements, schools, student groups and synagogue bodies to produce high quality programmes that impact the lives of the participants.

UJIA Israel Experience is responsible for the strategic planning for the UK Jewish community in the field of Jewish educational travel in Israel and Europe.

UJIA Israel Experience assists Youth Movements, schools, student groups and synagogue bodies by:-

• Ensuring high standards of education, logistics, health and safety and security are maintained on all programmes
• Assisting with the development and evaluation of the programme - from goals through preparation, itinerary and follow up
• Providing Bursaries, Scholarships and Subsidies (through the UJIA) to help families and individuals who are unable to afford the cost of the programme
• Training staff (madrichim & teachers) through an intensive training programme together with the Youth Movement or school.
• Assisting with marketing of programmes
• Assisting with information evenings for parents and participants
• Encouraging and promoting Israeli participation in programmes through the Mifgashim (Encounters) Programme
