At UJIA Israel Experience, Europe programmes are an integral part of the "Israel Experience" in which the educational journey begins with Israel Tour at 16 years, followed by the Europe programme at 17, culminating in an extended period of time in Israel at aged 18.
Europe Tour covers Jewish history between the exile from Israel in biblical times until the present day - an incredible period where the Jews forged a religion, built Jewish societies and cultures in inhospitable lands, innovated with Judaism, created political Zionism, suffered terrible disasters and enjoyed great achievements.
This programme is all about Jewish identity - how the Jews became the Jews they are today. This Jewish journey through the lands of the diaspora brought the Jews back to Israel quite different from how they were when they left. The sites of their journey have been the countries of the world and the cultures contained within them. These Europe programmes takes you to some of the most magical and exciting sites on this journey and shows you the effect it had on the Jewish people and how the Jewish people left their unique imprint on the people and places on the way.
UJIA Israel Experience works very closely with the Jewish youth movements in order to help them run Europe programmes of the highest quality. The support we offer includes writing educational storylines, training both educators and madrichim, providing resources for the trips and help organising logistics. Our goal is simple - to support the youth movements in their efforts to achieve high standards of excellence in all their programmes.
All Europe programmes are supported by the European infrastructure of the Jewish Agency. They are run in a safe and secure environment whilst giving the participants the freedom to explore European cities fully. So don't let your Jewish journey end with Israel Tour. Take the next step and continue the trip in a new, exciting and rewarding place.

Here are some quotes from last year's participants:
"Europe tour was far more than a history lesson. It was an opportunity to explore oneself and form one's own memories and experiences."
"Now that I have returned, I look forward to using my experience as a leader in my movement. My new insights will be applied in preparing peulot and catalysing discussions with chanichim. Ideas including freedom, community and the Holocaust will be incorporated with a new depth and understanding."
"This was one of the best experiences of my life, and I learnt so much in so little time."
