Powering pioneers for generations

Synagogues

We at UJIA Israel Experience realise the centrality of the Synagogue in any community and therefore it makes sense that we support Synagogue Israel trips across the communal spectrum.

Offering educational packages and logistics alongside our partners in Israel, we can create a trip to suit any community’s needs for their youth.
Whether it is a Cheder trip, a Barmitzvah trip or otherwise, we can ensure that you see everything that matters in Israel today. Whether it’s politics, culture or simply fun – we can give your group experiences that they wouldn’t be able to have anywhere else.

Our Synagogue trips are designed to emphasise the importance of community and to leave participants with a lasting connection to both their community at home and to Israel.

Rabbi Amir Ellituv, of the South Manchester Sephardi Synagogue said in a message to his community after their youth trip:

“The real conclusion of the trip will last for years, through their actions, the strength they have achieved with their identity, the cohesion they have managed to have as a group and the memories that will last for years to come. It is for the family and the community to ensure that this growth will be facilitated.

As I type this on the flight back on the plane, I recollect with pride what we have achieved in the eventful past 10 days. To get boys who are fortunate enough to have everything that they want in their lives to realize that there is a spirit that needs to be nourished, an identity that needs strengthening, that there is a country that we love and are proud of and inspired from is something that I can say they definitely feel. We crammed in so much yet at the same time everything sunk into them. We started as a group of 13 participants, we came back as one, we started with different fears and worries, we came back tired but elated, exhausted but thankful to all the organizers at Israel Experience who ensured that this trip would be a success.

The boys are different boys, they are more aware of themselves, of their identity and their religion. They have questions but they know that there are people who have addressed their questions and are here to answer them in the future.

We have now seen the immediate results in how the boys are, yet many of the longer term aims of the trip may very well be actualized and come to fruition in years to come.”
