The residue of your estate

The residue is the amount of your Estate left over after all costs and specific sums have been taken away. You cannot be sure how much the residue will be but we suggest that you name a charity or person to receive the residue.

Many people choose a charity, which has the benefit of saving Inheritance Tax. We recommend that a percentage of the residue is stated in a Will, this will protect against inflation.
