UJIA has launched its Annual Review 2006-07 which is significantly more detailed than has been the case in the past. UJIA responded to feedback and requests for more information and greater transparency.
UJIA endeavoured to set out its programme, highlighting achievements and challenges in what was a successful and exciting year, as we expanded activities and grew ourfund-raising income, whilst reducing the overhead cost base.
The Annual Review is designed to be more interesting and informative, and help the community understand more about the vital work we are doing, investing in young people and education in Israel and the UK -- work made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
Commenting on the new review UJIA Chief Executive Douglas Krikler said, "We are confident that we have a fantastic programme, and delighted that the hard work the team have put in over the last couple of years to ensure we are getting our message across to the community, is starting to pay off."
UJIA also consulted with Intelligent Giving, an independent charity-advisory website who work to improve how charities operate, by making them more transparent and accountable.
Commenting on the latest UJIA Annual Review, Sarah Hedley, Lead Researcher at Intelligent Giving said, "It's really exciting to see such a huge improvement in UJIA's Quality of Reporting scores, something we see only very rarely. UJIA have clearly put in a lot of effort into their annual report and this has resulted in more information about its activities and finances. UJIA is now a far more transparent charity and donors can get a clearer idea of the work it does. Well done UJIA!"
