UJIA Succah in the City

UJIA's Business Division celebrated Succot with a 'succah in the city' hosted by Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Over 45 business people enjoyed a networking breakfast warmly introduced by Jonathan Morris, a Partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner.

UJIA's Business Division brings top speakers from across the business world and this event was no exception. Gary Shainberg F.Inst.D.MILM VP Global Technology and Innovation, BT Group, has over 17 years experience in the Global Networked Economy covering a wide range of national and international assignments. He also sits on the Israel Britain Business Council to promote bilateral trade between the two Countries.

He spoke about the link between innovation and philanthropy, stating if innovation is applied to business, efficiency and revenue is increased, that in turn puts us in a better position to give time as well as money to charitable causes.

Commenting on the business breakfast UJIA Business Division Manager Zac Gazit said, "Succot is the holiday of joy and we are pleased that so many people were able to join us -- in the 'succah in the city' -- to fulfil one of the mitzvot of this festival. Luckily for us the rain held out meaning we were able to enjoy the whole event in such an impressive succah overlooking London Bridge. The event brought together a large core of influential business men and women to not only network but also to enjoy the Jewish festival of Succot."

This event is part of a series of business events and missions organised by UJIA to bring together business people with common interests and a love of Israel.
