We're behind Limmud

Driven by inspirational volunteers, including the young leadership of our community, Limmud is one of the most impressive innovations in Jewish education and learning in Britain. That is why UJIA is proud to be Limmud's single largest funder and supporter.

Limmud Conference is a learning community bringing together Jews of all backgrounds, ages and all levels of knowledge. On the face of it -- three hundred presenters giving eight hundred sessions to two thousand eager learners from right across the religious spectrum and all over the world, on every subject under the sun of interest to Jews -- from Torah study to music, from literature to politics, from history to the future, with performance, art and theatre thrown in for good measure.

Conference is unique. It's a place where Jews of very different backgrounds and levels of knowledge unite as a community. It's a community where people move from being participants who volunteer to becoming volunteers who participate.

Look out for UJIA at Limmud...UJIA staff are running a number of sessions and activites at Limmud making an impact both personally and in their capacities as Jewish Professionals and educators.

UJIA is deeply involved in the programming for Young Limmud, and UJIA Director of Educational Leadership, Alastair Falk and UJIA Research & Evaluation Director, Helena Miller will be running "Just a UJIA Minute" and "UJIA Promises Auction" and Maurice Stone will be dancing his way through Limmud with "Strictly Come Israeli Dancing".

Also look out for UJIA educators on a number of panels, discussing a range of topics of Jewish education. Finally UJIA Head of Social Responsibility, Elaine Robinson will be showcasing UJIA myfund - UJIA's teen philanthropy project. There's something for everyone!
