This week saw the launch of UJIA Lead First. UJIA Lead First is a scheme that will provide training with senior professionals from corporate and communal sectors in key transferable skills, portfolio building, internships and the possibility of a postgraduate scheme. The scheme is designed to complement and fit around movement work.
What will the scheme involve?

- Opportunities to network with lay leaders in finance, business, PR...
- Introduction to successful lay leaders who model excellence in their professional and communal lives

UJIA Lead First is a framework designed to ensure that the brightest and best utilise their talents in Youth Movements or UJS, as a model of the opportunity for lifelong involvement in the community on a lay level, and to maximise this experience in the context of a future career.
