A unique part of the Adam Science Foundation Leadership Programme is the mentoring scheme. Each year high calibre community leaders volunteer to act as a mentor for a participant on the programme. This year the group is very lucky to have an exceptional group of mentors to benefit from. On Monday 23 February the mentors and mentees gathered at the Jewish Social Action Hub in West Hampstead for a training evening before spending some time getting to know each other. There was a great atmosphere in the room and a genuine excitement for the year ahead.
After the session finished, ASFLP 08-09 went on a walk up to West Hampstead complete with leftover food (!) to plan for future sessions. The group will be proposing their solutions for issues facing the community before heading to Boston to learn more about the American Jewish community.
