Leeds teens are set to smash last year's record number of participants on UJIA Israel Experience summer tours.
More 16-year-olds have already booked from Leeds than participated 12 months ago.
Of a possible 62 teens eligible to go on Israel tour 47 have signed up and applications are still coming in.
"We have already exceeded the national average of young people going on tour," said Deborah Selwyn, UJIA Leeds programme administrator.
"We are obviously pleased Leeds is, as is often the case, ahead of the rest of UK Jewish community.
"UJIA works hard supporting youth movements in their desire to send as many young people to Israel as possible and they have achieved a fantastic result so far."
Deborah added: "Summer tour with UJIA Israel Experience is the best experience for 16-year-olds and a passage into Jewish adulthood."
Participating local movements are AJ6, Bnei Akiva, Habonim Dror, FZY, Maccabi, RSY-Netzer and JLGB. All have places still available.
