UJIA Amba 'Ladies Night'

UJIA Amba Ladies Committee is truly embedding itself at the heart of the Manchester community. In the past two months the committee have created and sold Rosh Hashanah greetings cards and last week held their second 'Ladies Night' in Hale, South Manchester. The two ventures have raised over £3,000 for UJIA.

The event follows the success of last year's launch 'Ladies Night' and saw 85 ladies spend an evening of pure relaxation and pampering. A range of luxurious treatments were on offer including manicures, massage and reike. To make it the perfect 'Ladies Night' this was presented together with retail therapy -- enough to satisfy any shopping urges!

As the ladies sipped bubbly and enjoyed treats provided by Celia Clyne and enjoyed the social aspect of the evening they were raising money for a worthwhile cause. The money raised will go towards the UJIA funded After School Enrichment Programme in the Galil, northern Israel. This programme provides afternoon educational enrichment activities in a safe and nurturing environment, providing an invaluable service to low-income families.
UJIA Amba is already planning their next event - a comedy dinner night.
