The UJIA JAMS team invited UJIA JAMS JSocs to nominate a Speaker of the Month! This is a great way of giving feedback to our speakers, who volunteer their time and energy into facilitating sessions for both assemblies and lunch and learns.
UJIA JAMS is delighted to announce that Londoner, Danielle Black (25) has been voted as the first Speaker of the Month, recognising her work for Mitzvah Day.
Danielle, who is the National Project Manager says;
"I have been working for Mitzvah Day since June 2009 and have been having the most fantastic time. Mitzvah Day is a charity which encourages people to give their time - rather than their money - in order to make a tangible difference to the world. My background is in youth work and events, so working with Mitzvah Day has really given me the opportunity to develop on my skills and gain some new ones too!
As the National Project Manager I deal with all admin in the office, coordinate the run up to the day, coordinate the volunteers, make visits to JSocs and many other tasks too.
It was a great opportunity to work with UJIA JAMS this year and I hope everyone enjoyed their Mitzvah Day, wherever they were in the world!"
