PR guru, Karen Harris, and business leader, Jeremy Isaacs, add value to UJIA
UJIA has welcomed the addition of two new, dynamic professionals to its Trustees. Award-winning PR and marketing consultant, Karen Harris, and influential banker, Jeremy Isaacs, will bring fresh perspectives and additional experience to the organisation's governing body.
Their appointment continues UJIA's development by bringing talent and expertise from two very different worlds: finance and public relations. With their diverse experience, Harris and Isaacs will make the existing 10-person board of Trustees even stronger.
Karen Harris has established herself as a leading figure in the UK PR world, running successful consultancies and campaigns in both the private and public sectors. Jeremy Isaacs has an extensive background in the City's financial world, having held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, before going on to establish the JRJ Group.
Karen Harris said:
"Our community is facing new challenges that require us to think in a different way. UJIA is well placed to help us develop knowledgeable and confident young people who hold Israel at the heart of their Jewish identity and will strengthen our community for the future."
Jeremy Isaacs said:
"I am proud to be associated with UJIA and look forward to working with them to build upon their success in supporting the community and nurturing future generations."
Mick Davis, UJIA chair, welcomed the new Trustees, adding:
"I am delighted that Jeremy and Karen are joining our board of Trustees. Their enormous talents and abilities, together with fresh perspectives, will contribute to UJIA's ongoing growth and effectiveness in securing a vibrant Jewish life here and in Israel."
