British businesses celebrate Israel 63

Three hundred and fifty figures from the business world in Britain, Israel and beyond celebrated Israel's 63rd birthday at UJIA's annual Yom Ha'atzmaut Business Breakfast on Tuesday 10 May 2011. Guests showed their support for Israel and to UJIA's educational programmes.

The sold-out event at The Savoy in London's West End was organised by UJIA's Business Division and sponsored by Deutsche Bank. Guest speaker, Ocado CEO and co-founder, Tim Steiner, spoke to veteran business journalist, Nick Cosgrove, about the highs and lows of his career. Children from the Akiva School Choir closed the event with the song Ahavat Olam before leading the audience for a moving rendition of the Israeli national anthem, Hatikva.
