Lord Sugar fired up entrepreneurs at the launch of UJIA's new Ignite entrepreneurs network
Lord Sugar fired up entrepreneurs and investors at the launch of Ignite, a new entrepreneurs and investors network from UJIA. The initiative brings enterprising people together and encourages networking, collaboration and new business relationships, while also supporting the charitable activities of UJIA.
Ignite's launch event was hosted by JP Morgan on June 28th and over 200 guests enjoyed the rare opportunity to hear Lord Sugar, founder of Amstrad, former owner of Tottenham Hotspur and 'the boss' on BBC1's The Apprentice. Guests heard Lord Sugar speak in his trademark curt manner about his firsthand experiences as an entrepreneur.
The event raised £42K for UJIA educational programmes in the UK and Israel.
Next for the committee is an Aspiring Entrepreneur Workshop on Thursday 22 September 2011. Bookings are now open please contact Zac Gazit 020 7424 6432. This starts a series of interactive networking workshops.
