Three top comedians, Mark Maier, Paul Tonkinson and Adam Bloom, will be entertaining UJIA guests at the charity's annual AMBA comedy evening. The event will be held on Monday 18 July and is almost a complete sell-out. Nici Wertheim UJIA AMBA Chair comments, "The evening will be full of laughs, we want to show how doing your bit for a worthy cause can be fun and uplifting. We have sold 95% of tickets so those wanting to join should contact the UJIA offices straight away."
The three professional comedians have taken time out of their demanding touring schedules to take to the stage for UJIA.
Guests will be helping UJIA AMBA continue their support for UJIA work supporting young people in Israel and the UK, in particular its support for the After-School Enrichment Programme in the Galil, northern Israel. The programme provides tuition outside regular school hours for underprivileged children to boost academic achievement and build self-esteem.
Nici Wertheim, UJIA AMBA chairwoman, said: "As parents we want to give our children the best that they can have. But many parents in northern Israel don't have the means or the time to do so. It's up to us to help families in these communities who are unable to provide for their children, so I invite all the Community from across Manchester to join us for an evening of comedy for a good cause."
Tickets are £35 per person including food and drink . To book call Kimberley on 0161 740 1825 x4.
