New cross-communal schools open in London and the Galil
Two groundbreaking new schools have opened their doors this month, marking a first for cross-communal Jewish education in London and the north of Israel. JCoSS in East Barnet and Shlomi High School in the Galil are set to transform the lives of hundreds of young people.

British families celebrate Bar/Bat Mitzvot in Ethiopian style
Twenty two British families travelled to Israel to celebrate becoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah with their Ethiopian "twins". Participants in the UJIA Ethiopian Bar/Bat Mitzvah Programme joined 40 Ethiopian families and over 300 guests for an emotional ceremony in Jerusalem where the children were blessed by the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, Yona Metzger.
