Israel Experience Bursaries

Each year, approximately 2,200 young British Jews visit Israel on both short (3 weeks) and long (5 months-1 year) Israel programmes. UJIA awards means-tested bursaries that allow hundreds of young people the opportunity to participate in the educational experience of a lifetime.

These 'Israel Experiences' are the jewel in the crown of UJIA's programming and make us the world leader in the field. Indeed, over 50% of Jewish 16 year-olds in the UK now participate on a UJIA Israel Experience tour.

Our programmes are operated through Jewish Youth Movements and schools with the full financial and logistical backing of UJIA and our partner, the Jewish Agency.
