The Jewish Curriculum Partnership (JCP) is a new UJIA initiative that will transform the landscape of Jewish day school provision in the community.
Having built Jewish schools and developed teacher training programmes, it is only in the area of curriculum that the UK Jewish community is markedly deficient. So in partnership with the United Synagogue, UJIA is developing a curriculum covering topics in Jewish Studies, Hebrew and Israel.
Utilising experts from the Lookstein Centre at Bar Ilan University as well as educators in the UK, we are working directly with teachers in the schools to develop the materials. In this way, we can ensure that the JCP will be fully utilised as the units are completed.
Educational experts from around the world have reviewed our plans and share our conviction that this will be a world-class product.
